The Lake Norman Giants started in 1999 as the Huntersville Giants. The assocation was run by the Huntersville Parks & Rec department. The organization started with four teams. Around 2002 the Huntersville Giants became the Lake Norman Giants and leadership moved from the Town of Huntersville to the board of directors of the association.

The association increased the number of teams and participants dramatically over the past ten years to 8-10 teams. Today the LKN Giants have more than 300 kids! The Giants have won many conference titles and Optimist Bowls!

Most importantly, we are teaching kids life lessons. We are preparing champions for life! We have a great team of board members this year who are focused on making the kids experience the best ever!
