The Pop Warner 8U tackle football division is designed for 7 and 8-year-olds, focusing on player development, fundamental skills, and safety with no minimum or maximum weight limits. This competitive level features 10-minute quarters, full special teams, and provides opportunities for regional and Super Bowl Playoffs, while requiring a 2-point stance for all linemen.
Birthday must be BEFORE July 15, 2017.
Registration for the Lake Norman Giants Youth Tackle Football Program does not guarantee placement on an official team roster. Team formation is dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to: total number of registered participants, availability of approved volunteer coaches, roster size limitations, player safety considerations, age (if applicable), positional needs, league requirements, and overall program capacity.
Placement is not guaranteed and will occur only if space becomes available and all program requirements are satisfied.
Once official team rosters are finalized, any participant who has not been added to a roster will receive a full refund of registration fees paid.
The program reserves the right to limit team sizes, combine divisions, or decline placement when necessary to maintain safe, balanced, and properly supervised teams.
